Are you a detail-driven professional with a military or technical background? Roxtec Services is seeking Inspectors who understand that safety isn’t optional-it’s mission-critical.
As part of the global Roxtec Group, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of cable and pipe transit seals across marine and offshore units. Your work will directly impact operational safety, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct inspections and provide hands-on supervision and technical support.
- Lead and report on inspection projects with precision and accountability.
- Train and mentor new inspectors and partners.
- Collaborate on process improvements and software tools.

What You Bring:
- Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or marine/offshore operations.
- Military training or service (preferred in engineering, maintenance, or inspection).
- Strong technical skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Ability to read structural drawings and navigate regulatory standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and work independently.

Essential Job Functions
- Perform transit seal inspection and provide supervision and technical support to installers and customers.
- Prepare, administrate, manage, perform, and report inspection related to projects.
- Support in developing work processes and utilizing software.
- Assist in supporting, training, and developing new colleagues and partners / consultants in their roles as inspectors.
- Conduct or assist in training sessions.
- Actively work to develop the services provided by Roxtec Services AB and the scope offered to customers.
Requirements:
Requirements
- Working knowledge of marine and offshore regulations, shipbuilding, and ship repair.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of technical competence an understanding of product applications.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings and approval documents.
- Intermediate level of computer skills in Microsoft suite of products, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to write and speak effectively with customers and team members at all levels within the organization.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and successfully manage tasks from start to completion.
- Accomplish all assignments and commitments in accordance with Roxtec’s core values.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Any combination of below experience and education will be considered.
- Qualifications/certifications from a tertiary institution within a relevant field of engineering.
- Qualifications/certifications from a marine institution, or similar military training (preferred in engineering or maintenance)
- 4 or more years of seagoing experience (military or commercial)
- 4 or more years of electrical to include transit installations.
- Qualifications as a vessel examiner, inspector, or surveyor.
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Must be able to obtain Basic Offshore Safety Introduction & Emergency Training with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (BOSIET-CA-EBS) within 12 months of start of employment.
