We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Developer to join a mission-critical Workers’ Compensation Insurance environment. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise across policy administration, premium calculation, billing, collections, audits, proof of coverage, and regulatory compliance combined with strong technical experience in Oracle and .NET development. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale software systems that support essential insurance operations and web-based applications. Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages, and triggers Build batch applications using .NET and Oracle Plan and design technology solution architectures Communicate and translate software requirements to development teams Develop modern browser-based web applications ensuring cross-browser performance and responsive design Key Responsibilities Define, design, and document software architectures, including system components, interfaces, and technology stacks Design, develop, modify, test, and implement Oracle PL/SQL code such as triggers, functions, stored procedures, packages, views, cursors, and advanced queries Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable .NET applications using Visual Studio 2019 or newer and TFS Develop interactive web applications using JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, HTML, and AJAX Support workers’ compensation processes such as proof of coverage, policy premium calculation, renewals, rebills, and audits in compliance with New York State regulations Support billing and collections functions, including accounts receivable management and regulatory compliance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with SDLC, enterprise architecture, and governance standards Provide leadership and technical guidance to development teams Utilize Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas) for project and portfolio management when required Key Requirements 84+ months (7 years) of experience developing and maintaining Workers’ Compensation insurance software, including proof of coverage per IAIABC guidelines 84+ months supporting billing and collections systems, including accounts receivable management and compliance 84+ months developing software for policy premium calculation, renewals, rebills, and audits in New York State Workers’ Compensation 84+ months in Oracle PL/SQL development including triggers, packages, functions, and performance optimization within the Workers’ Compensation domain 84+ months as a .NET Developer using TFS and Visual Studio (2019 or newer) with high-performance, scalable application design 84+ months developing web applications using JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, HTML, and AJAX with responsive, cross-browser compatibility 48+ months (4 years) experience with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas) Benefits: Health Insurance Sick time 401k Pay Range: $58.00 – $68.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
