Litigation Paralegal – Long-Term Care Defense
Location: Remote (Preference for Tennessee candidates)
Schedule: Full-Time
LHH Recruitment Solution is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to support a long-term care defense practice. This role involves working closely with an attorney and handling all phases of litigation, particularly in long-term care liability claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
- Compile and manage information for discovery responses and maintain case files.
- Docket deadlines and track litigation activities.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and vendors to obtain necessary records and evidence.
- Handle some administrative functions as part of a small team.
- E-file documents in Tennessee courts.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally in long-term care defense (plaintiff experience considered).
- Education: Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- eDiscovery experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
