Job Summary The Remote Ski Travel Planner specializes in planning and booking ski and mountain vacations for individuals, families, and groups while working fully remote. This role focuses on delivering personalized travel planning, expert destination guidance, and exceptional customer service for ski resorts and winter travel destinations worldwide. Key Responsibilities Ski Vacation Planning & Booking Plan and book ski vacations including resort accommodations, lift tickets, equipment rentals, lessons, and transportation Coordinate travel to major ski destinations such as Colorado, Utah, California, Vermont, Canada, and Europe Arrange group ski trips, family vacations, and ski club travel Client Consultation & Itinerary Design Consult with clients to understand skiing ability, travel preferences, group size, and budget Recommend appropriate resorts, lodging options, and travel packages Customize itineraries based on client needs, including non-ski activities and après-ski experiences Customer Service & Support Serve as the primary point of contact before, during, and after travel Manage itinerary changes, cancellations, weather-related adjustments, and special requests Provide proactive support during travel disruptions or emergencies Sales & Relationship Management Promote ski packages, upgrades, and add-on services (lessons, rentals, transportation, insurance) Build long-term client relationships and referral business Meet or exceed booking and customer satisfaction goals Administration & Compliance Maintain accurate client records, confirmations, and travel documentation Stay current on resort policies, seasonal availability, and travel requirements Follow company procedures, supplier agreements, and industry standards Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Comfort using online booking systems, email, and phone/video communication Preferred Experience planning ski or winter vacations (personal or professional) Knowledge of ski resorts, mountain destinations, and winter travel logistics Background in travel, hospitality, or sales Commission-based sales experience Skills & Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication Strong organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving and adaptability Passion for skiing, snowboarding, or mountain travel Work Environment & Schedule Fully remote / work-from-home position Flexible schedule; evenings and weekends may be required Independent contractor (1099) or employee (W-2), depending on agency structure Compensation & Benefits (varies by organization) Competitive commission structure and/or base pay Travel discounts and familiarization trips Ongoing training and supplier support Flexible work environment with growth opportunities Why Join Us Work remotely from anywhere Help clients create unforgettable ski and mountain vacations Flexible scheduling and autonomy Supportive, team-oriented culture
