HR Consultant – Remote Flexibility

About the Company and Opportunity:

  • Our client is a government contractor in Montgomery County.
  • Due to an acquisition, they are looking to bring on an HR Consultant to work fully remote.
  • Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
  • Pay: $67-70/hr depending on experience
  • Duration: 3-6 months

Overview of the HR Consultant role:

  • Come in and assess the company’s current performance and processes.
  • Evaluate operations, document findings, prioritize needs, develop strategies, and provide clear recommendations to strengthen the HR and Payroll functions.
  • Expert in employee relations, on/off boarding, benefits, compensation, SOP development, recruitment, etc.

Preferred Qualifications for the HR Consultant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 5+ years at a HR Manager/Director level
  • Government contracting experience is plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
