My Story:
As a stay at home mom, I found myself needing a job that allowed me to work remotely. I wanted a remote job so that I could be more involved in my children’s lives and day to day activities.
At one time I was commuting a minimum of an hour to work, staying at my job for at least eight hours, and then traveling another hour to get home. After traveling the hour back home, then I would have to pickup my children from after school care (which they hated going to), make dinner, help with homework, get ready for the next work day, blah blah blah, and the list goes on and on. It was extremely emotionally and physically exhausting. I thought to myself, there has got to be a better and more fulfilling way to earn a living. So I started researching work from home jobs hoping to have a better work-life balance. Like most of everyone else that attempts to find work from home jobs, I was bombarded with scams and people that wanted me to pay them to get access to these jobs. Pay to get access to a job posting? No way! Needless to say, it was very frustrating.
After a lot of research and digging around, I figured out the best resources to use to view legitimate remote jobs for free. I put those resources together. Then I began to think, if I’m having this much trouble, others probably are too. Maybe I can help. This is how RemoteJobNetwork.com was born.
My reasons for needing a remote job were because I wanted a better work-life balance. Your reasons may be different.
