Accounting Consultant – Remote Flexibility

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a government contractor in Montgomery County.
• Due to an acquisition, they are looking to bring on an Accounting Consultant to work fully remote.
• Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
• Pay: $67-70/hr depending on experience
• Duration: 3-6 months

Overview of the Accounting Consultant role:

• Completing 30-60-90 day assessments
• Identifying gaps and setting priorities
• Supporting ME Close, Reporting, and Analysis
• Ad hoc projects/reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Consultant:

• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related is a plus
• 5+ years at a Controller/C-Suite level
• Government contracting experience is required
• Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
