Director of Internal Training & IT Systems Enablement – Hybrid

Innova Solutions is seeking a results-driven leader with proven experience in orchestrating training initiatives tied to enterprise system implementations (e.g., Workday, Epic, SAP, or similar). This role demands a strategic thinker who excels in translating complex system rollouts into scalable, user-centered training programs.

The targeted candidates are NOT a traditional L&D leaders, but a hybrid expert in IT project management, change management, and systems-driven workforce readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a critical partner during core system rollouts, aligning training strategies with implementation milestones.
  • Sit in on executive, IT, and functional team meetings to assess training implications across systems, workflows, and departments.
  • Design and deploy end-user training and change readiness strategies tailored to enterprise applications.
  • Partner with department leaders to assess current and emerging training needs.
  • Lead organizational change management efforts with a focus on system adoption, user engagement, and behavior change.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic training schedules that align with project timelines and operational demands.
  • Translate technical processes and system updates into engaging, learner-friendly content and delivery formats.
  • Approve, refine, and manage end-to-end training content and learning modalities (e.g., blended learning, e-learning, job aids).
  • Support performance management and retention by fostering a culture of learning and adoption.
  • Act as a key advisor to leadership on workforce readiness, training resource allocation, and change impact mitigation.
  • Oversee vendor relationships where external training support is needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business) preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years leading enterprise-level training initiatives.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience, particularly in supporting training during major software/system implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience with change management strategy and execution at scale.
  • Technical & Strategic Skills:
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Epic, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.).
  • Ability to diagnose training needs and map instructional design to technical system changes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LMS platforms, workflow mapping systems, and measurement dashboards.
