About this Position:

Job Title: DAM API Engineer

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in maintaining enterprise-level DAM platforms.
Expertise with DAM API integrations, metadata structures, and media file standards.
Familiarity with hybrid on-prem/cloud-based hosting environments and security practices.
Proven experience with the specific technologies: Islandora, Drupal, SOLR, Kubernetes, LAMP stack, and Red Hat Linux.
Experience with data backups and disaster recovery readiness.
Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting system issues.

Skillset:

Deep technical proficiency in system administration for Linux-based environments (Red Hat Linux).
Strong knowledge of database management (SOLR, potentially others).
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting web servers (Apache/NGINX as part of LAMP).
Scripting and automation skills for routine maintenance and performance tuning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.
Understanding of network security and privacy regulations.
