Job description Legal Intake Manager Plaintiff-Side Employment Law Firm (Remote) We’re a growing, mission-driven plaintiff-side employment law firm seeking an experienced and empathetic Legal Intake Manager to lead our intake operations and serve as the first point of contact for potential clients. This fully remote, full-time role is ideal for someone with a background managing legal intake teams especially in employment law who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment and is passionate about standing up for workers’ rights. What You’ll Do Supervise and mentor a team of intake specialists, ensuring high-quality, compassionate service to potential clients Oversee daily intake operations, from call handling to lead tracking, ensuring prompt and effective case triage Conduct complex or high-priority intake interviews as needed, using sound judgment and legal insight Develop and maintain systems to track intake metrics and continuously improve intake processes Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to ensure seamless case handoffs and consistent follow-through Implement training, quality control, and documentation protocols to support team success Maintain a high standard of data accuracy in our client management systems Ensure compliance with ethical obligations and confidentiality at every stage of intake What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience managing a legal intake team or equivalent supervisory role in a law firm or legal services setting Strong knowledge of employment law intake workflows preferred (discrimination, retaliation, wage/hour, etc.) Proven leadership and people management skills; you know how to support, coach, and hold team members accountable Exceptional communication and empathy especially with clients in distress or crisis Strong organizational and tech skills, including proficiency with CRM/case management systems (e.g., Lawmatics, Clio, Filevine) Clear, professional writing and grammar skills for summarizing complex stories Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment and values mission-driven work Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Compensation & Benefits Full-time, remote position Competitive hourly pay or salary (commensurate with experience) Eligible for performance-based bonuses 2 weeks PTO annually + paid holidays Reimbursement for remote work expenses (internet, phone, etc.) Supportive, collaborative work culture with room to grow into a senior operations role About Us We represent employees in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage/hour cases.
