Special Counsel Location: While it’s remote, preferred candidates will have a bar in the following states California, Washington, Michigan and preferably Arizona Schedule: Fully Remote No business development required Billables: billable EXPECTATION, not minimum. Compensation: $130K $160K base salary with a NON-discretionary bonus. The Client: An Expanding National Labor & Employment Law Firm A leading firm focused exclusively on labor and employment matters is scaling its Virtual Office practice to meet surging client demand. With a strong existing remote attorney cohort and an emphasis on collaborative team culture, they aim to hire additional attorneys before year-end. Description: What You’ll Be Doing As Special Counsel, you’ll handle a wide range of employment litigation matters including EPLI claims, administrative charges, demand letters, single-plaintiff disputes, and potentially class actions and PAGA cases. You’ll focus entirely on billable work no business development or internal committee obligations and may supervise and support junior counsel in litigation strategy, drafting, and client management. Qualifications: What You’ll Need to Bring 3-7 years of labor & employment experience as a litigation associate. Background in law firm practice preferred, for need to understand how to make your time billable.
