Need at least 1 year of working experience directly with Chapter 440 (Florida’s Workers’ Compensation Code) and be an excellent mediator, taking depositions of plaintiffs to exposure fraudulent workplace injury claims You will be defending companies, corporations and a wide variety of employers and insurance brokers in the insurance claims against them. Role is 100% remote unless there’s a meeting every now and then, also go to the conferences and that’s where you will really meet individuals who will help better your career growth and the firm’s NEEDS to have 1.) Florida Bar 2.) Proficiency with Technology (TEAMS) 3.) Litigation skill OR a great passion for litigation 4.) Be available to attend annual/semi annual workers’ compensation conferences Preferred: Spanish or another language Ability to independently source, locate, handle litigate and close. Great academics are always a plus, not necessary. Salary range is $120,000 – $195,000 per year with a performance bonus incentivized by a proprietary structure that is based on FILES CLOSED as opposed to HOURS BILLED.
