Job Description:
A Remote Cabin Travel Planner is responsible for designing and coordinating personalized travel experiences focused on cabin, lodge, and nature-based destinations. This role works directly with clients to plan vacations in mountain, lake, and wilderness settings while managing reservations, travel logistics, and guest experience. The planner ensures each trip aligns with the client’s preferences, budget, and travel goals while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand travel preferences, budgets, and destination interests Research and recommend cabin rentals, lodges, resorts, and outdoor destinations Coordinate reservations for lodging, transportation, and local activities Create customized travel itineraries and vacation packages Manage booking systems and maintain accurate reservation records Provide travel guidance including seasonal recommendations, local attractions, and outdoor activities Communicate with property managers, vendors, and travel partners Resolve travel issues or itinerary changes quickly and professionally Stay current on travel trends, destination updates, and promotional opportunities Qualifications Experience in travel planning, hospitality, tourism, or customer service preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently in a remote environment Familiarity with booking platforms and travel reservation systems Knowledge of outdoor destinations such as mountain, lake, or national park locations is a plus Key Skills Travel planning and itinerary development Customer relationship management Attention to detail Problem solving and adaptability Time management and organization Benefits (may vary by company) Remote work flexibility Travel discounts or perks Commission or performance incentives Opportunities to explore travel destinations
