Job Summary The Remote Travel Consultant is responsible for planning, booking, and managing personalized travel experiences for clients while working fully remote. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, expert travel guidance, and seamless end-to-end trip coordination. Travel Consultants act as trusted advisors, helping clients navigate destinations, accommodations, transportation, and travel requirements to ensure a smooth and memorable travel experience. Key Responsibilities Client Consultation & Trip Planning Consult with clients to understand travel preferences, budgets, and goals Design customized domestic and international travel itineraries Recommend destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities Booking & Travel Coordination Book flights, hotels, cruises, tours, car rentals, and travel packages Manage reservations, confirmations, and itinerary documentation Monitor travel changes, cancellations, or disruptions and proactively support clients Customer Service & Support Serve as the primary point of contact before, during, and after travel Resolve travel-related issues, changes, or emergencies in a timely manner Deliver a high-touch, customer-focused experience that builds repeat business Sales & Relationship Management Promote travel packages, upgrades, and add-on services when appropriate Build long-term client relationships and referral pipelines Meet or exceed sales and service performance goals Compliance & Knowledge Management Stay current on travel regulations, visa requirements, health advisories, and supplier policies Maintain accurate client records and documentation Adhere to industry standards, supplier agreements, and company policies Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Proficiency with email, online booking tools, and basic office software Preferred Prior experience in travel, hospitality, customer service, or sales Familiarity with global destinations, travel products, and booking platforms Sales-oriented mindset with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously Skills & Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication Strong organizational and time-management skills Problem-solving and adaptability Relationship-building and consultative sales skills Attention to detail and follow-through Work Environment & Schedule Fully remote / work-from-home position Flexible scheduling, including evenings or weekends as needed Independent contractor or employee status depending on company structure Why Join Us Work remotely from anywhere Flexible schedule and autonomy Opportunity to help clients create meaningful travel experiences Ongoing training, supplier support, and professional growth opportunities
