Staff Accountant II
3/2 Hybrid Model – San Antonio (must live in SA area)
Compensation: $58,000-$70,000

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Complete variety of routine accounting functions supporting month-end close
Prepare accurate general ledger entries and financial statements
Reconcile general ledgers; research, analyze and document explanations for variances in general ledger accounts
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger according to GAAP, maintaining complex Excel spreadsheets for supporting documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
Accounting degree and at least 2 years + of accounting experience
Demonstrate an understanding of GAAP through accurate application
Reconciliations, Journal Entries, Supporting Month End Close experience
Microsoft Office Suite, specifically comfortable in Microsoft Excel
